Questions about selling supplies

The things people ask before they text us. If yours is not here, ask it directly. We would rather answer than have you guess.

Is it legal to sell my diabetic supplies?

Selling supplies you bought yourself is legal. The extra boxes left over when a prescription changes, a meter gets switched, or a family member passes are yours to sell.

What is not legal is reselling supplies obtained through Medicare, Medicaid, or another insurance benefit. We do not buy those, and we ask where your supplies came from before we agree to anything.

Do you buy supplies that came through Medicare or Medicaid?

No. Not in any quantity, not under any circumstances. If your supplies came through an insurance benefit we cannot take them, and we will tell you that instead of quietly working around it.

What condition do they need to be in?

We typically buy sealed, in-date supplies: the original box, unopened, with a readable expiration date that has not passed.

If yours are opened, or close to the date, text us anyway and we'll tell you what it's worth. A photo of the box answers it in ten seconds and saves you a trip.

How fast do I get paid?

Same day. In Corpus Christi and San Antonio you are paid when we take the supplies. For mail-in from Houston or the Rio Grande Valley, you are paid the same day your package arrives.

How much will you pay me?

It depends on what you have: brand, quantity, and how much time is left before the expiration date all matter. That is why our price list is a starting point rather than a quote: a number on a page cannot know how much time is left on your boxes.

Text us your list and you will get a real number for your actual supplies, usually within the hour.

I'm not in Corpus Christi. Can I still sell?

Yes. San Antonio gets the same pickup and drop-off options as Corpus. Houston and the Rio Grande Valley mail in. We agree on a number first, then you ship, then you are paid the same day your package arrives.

Do I have to fill out a form?

No. A text is enough, and it is the fastest way to reach us. The form is there if you would rather type it all out at once or you are on a computer.

What information do you need from me?

What you have, roughly how much, and your ZIP code so we know whether this is a pickup or a mail-in. A photo of the boxes covers most of it.

Will you keep calling me if I say no?

No. If the number does not work for you, that is the end of it. We contact you about the supplies you asked us about and nothing else.

Still have a question?
